Tehran Knights Franchise Timeline

April 7, 1997: First game in franchise history.

November x, 1997: Bob Gibson wins his first of back to back Inferno League Cy Young Awards.

January 1, 1999: The Rome Centurians relocate after just two seasons in Italy. They move to Afghanistan to become the Kabul Mujahadeen.

1999 Playoffs: Kabul wins it's first and only Lockwood Division title, but they are defeated in the ILCS by the Honolulu Volcanos in seven games.

November x, 2001: Anthony Lewis is named Rookie of the Year in the Inferno League.

January 1, 2007: Management has had enough of playing in unstable Kabul for all these years, so they decide to relocate the South Africa and rename the team the Cape Town Convicts.

January 1, 2011: Despite an emerging rivalry with the Joahnnesburg Steelmen, management decides to relocate the team once again, this time moving to Iran and renaming the team the Tehran Knights.

November x, 2011: Matty Dauss wins the Inferno League Rookie of the Year award.

October 2, 2013: Lou Gehrig captures the Triple Crown, leading the Inferno League in home runs (67), RBI (141), and Batting Average (.358).

November x, 2014: Bob Schwert is named Rookie of the Year in the Inferno League.

November 6, 2017: Terry Fitzpatrick wins the Inferno League Rookie of the Year award.

November 7, 2019: Jeffrey D'Amico wins the Inferno League Cy Young Award.

November 3, 2022: Hal Newhouser wins the Inferno League Cy Young Award.

November 4, 2022: Terry Fitzpatrick is named Inferno League MVP.
