First game in franchise history.
January
1, 1998:
After just one season as the Alexandria
Camels, the team relocates to Palermo, Italy to
become the Sicily Godfathers.
November
4, 1999:
Christy Matthewson wins his first of three straight
Blizzard League Cy Young Awards.
2000
Playoffs: The Godfathers win their first Barnes
Division title, but are defeated in the BLCS by the
Havana Cigars 4 games to 2.
November
5 , 2006:
Gus Whippet is named Rookie of the Year in the Blizzard
League.
November
8 , 2007:
Christy Matthewson wins fourth Blizzard League Cy Young
Award.

14 , 2008:
Christy Matthewson no-hits the Tokyo
Samaurais.
July
24, 2014:
Ed Walsh tosses a no-hitter against the Rio
de Janerio Capybaras.
2014
Playoffs: Sicily makes their triumphant return to
the top of the Barnes Division. They play the Capybaras
in the BLCS, but are defeated in six games.
September
6, 2015:
Ed Walsh throws a perfect game against the Edmonton
Orcas. It is the second no-hit game of his career.
2015
Playoffs: The Godfathers make it back to back Barnes
titles, but they are once again dispatched in the BLCS.
The Long Beach Lobsters defeat
them 4 games to 1.
November
5 , 2015:
Smokey Joe Wood ends his illustrious Weaver League career
with his third straight Blizzard League Cy Young Award.
He also won the award eleven times in the Inferno League.
